A sweet creation —this bonus offering is designed to add a little whimsy and joy to the spring kitchen. This herbal confectionery sugar is meant to be a sweet way to awaken creativity. Delicate spring petals of every sweet kind and color are positively enmeshed into sultry lavender, smoky sage, and honey-laced chamomile. Sweet mint is abundant, and it’s all tossed with a beautiful Middle Eastern-inspired cherry-like mahlab spice mix perfumed with rose petals, fruity elderflowers, and cherry blossoms. Commingled warmth with spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and vanilla powder. White balsamic, rose water, and elderflower liquor spiced macerated strawberries get baked into house-made meringue cookies only to be crushed into the mix, alongside tangy floral-sweet orange and tangerine zest and lemon flowers giving a bright citrus flare-up. The maceration juice is dosed over the herbs, spices, and meringue dust and it’s all slowly dried together only to be pulverized into an herbal fairy dust of spring dreams. Use on pound cake, pancakes, waffles, and of course strawberry shortcake. Mix with hot water for a dreamy cocktail syrup. This is extraordinarily unique.
