A collection forged from the unyielding spirit of Middle Eastern people and the radical vitality that rises from revolt. Like spring itself, this is the flavor of bold awakening. These herb salts are rooted in the commons of my Middle Eastern experience—each tin a story of resistance, renewal, and how herbs hold memory while demanding change. From Turkish mint climbing ancient stone to checkpoint kitchens in the West Bank, desert moons in Jordan, and jasmine-drenched arches in Egypt, these blends were born from witness: fiery Tunisian harissa tangled with peas and mint; wild Ottoman sumac and lemony sorrel spun through kebab dreams; Persian dill streaked through spring-washed saffron rice. Herbs speak vitality of culture: parsley, arugula, dill, chives, fennel, edible flowers. Spices tell history: black cumin, sumac, cardamom, cinnamon, Urfa chili, coriander—cut with California citrus zest, bound by my vision of flavor as emotion, memory, desire, and forward movement. This is my season—spring—a return, a rebellion, and a birthright. This is My Arab Spring—a collection I hope can awaken revolt in my fellow Americans, through flavor and action.
